Many many years ago I was at a George Dillman seminar in London Ontario and got my very first real exposure to Kyusho Jitsu, the art and science of Pressure Point Study. I had a small amount of exposure with another instructor but he was very secretive about the knowledge and so I think he really knew very little. More of a show then anything.
Dillman’s seminar blew me away! I was hooked! I contacted the host of the seminar Grand Master Steve Stewart and joined a study group to learn and ceritify in this amazing art.
Today Kyusho is a major part of the art we teaching at Art Mason’s Peaceful Warriors’ Martial Arts. The eclectic art of Hon Sang Mu Sa Hapkido has pressure point work incorporated into all of its self defense techniques and application. Adult students are very aware of this part of the study.
But also, there is a separate entity within the school in which you can study and obtain a Black Belt in this amazing art as well! Many of our senior Black Belts are also Black Belts in Kyusho Jitsu! Several, 4 actually are at Master level and above!. Many are 1st and 2nd Dan!
Currently in Windsor there are both novice and advanced session being conducted by Master Riccardo and Master Louise. If you are interested in more information about in class study please see one of them during class time!
If you are interested in online study visit this website for more details.
Recently I have also created an alliance to further the study of Kyusho jitsu on a global basis called The Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance. Visit our websites, Kyusho Jitsu World for all thing Kyusho like eBooks and videos and also the Kyusho Jitsu Alliance for information on membership.
